Data QA Architect

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain a framework for testing data quality.
• Assist developers and data QA engineers in adding data validation scripts to the test framework.
• Create continuous delivery pipelines for data quality tests and provide feedback to product teams and developers.
• Understand customer data requirements and define the test strategy (manual, automation, and semi-automation).
• Lead the strategy for data validation and testing for the entire QA team, both manual and automated.
• Identify and analyse data defects, and continuously improve the overall data testing strategy to deliver the highest quality data to customers.
• Standardise the data QA process and data QA test code review process.
• Coach and mentor the QA and Dev teams to improve data quality.
• Encourage automation in the QA team.
• Collaborate with delivery engineering and product engineering teams to identify gaps in the QA process, QA-signed-off projects, and crawled data, and come up with solutions.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3+ years of experience as Technical lead / Architect in Data QA domain, leading a QA team of 6-8.
• Strong communication skills are crucial for a Data QA Architect. This includes technical information, teamwork, and collaboration to ensure high-quality work that meets stakeholder needs and contributes to project success..
• Strong knowledge and experience developing test Framework for validating high volume of data using Python for Big data domain.
• Strong understanding and experience in testing and validating high volume of data from various sources in various formats - json, csv, parquet, etc.
• Good knowledge of Engineering Data Pipelines using AWS services or equivalent tech stacks.
• Good knowledge and experience in software development and software testing lifecycle.
• Experience in Web Data Crawling and Validating the Data Quality will be a bonus.
